Get to Know Amy
Amy Benton’s bold approach as catalyst for business and marketing innovation has been developed during more than 25 years’ experience in media, sales, marketing, executive business management, and the not-for-profit arena. After her graduation from Hood College with a BA in Communication Arts, Amy effected change and gained the critical, practical day to day know-how required of a successful entrepreneur as publisher of The Gazette, a Post-Newsweek publication; Senior Vice-President of a regional financial institution; President of The Frederick County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors; Vice President of the Women’s Giving Circle of Frederick County; President of the Maryland Ensemble Theatre; served on the boards of the YMCA and Heartly House, had affiliation with Rotary Club of Carroll Creek, Leadership Frederick County, Weinberg Center for the Arts, as Frederick Memorial Hospital Good Samaritan Committee Member, and is a Member of Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Amy approaches business and marketing like she approaches life; with a passion for the exploration of truth and possibility, a leader who is unafraid to agitate when required. If the menu has 33 flavors, she will try them all. Her primary objective is to shake free of complacency and easy assumptions, to discern from within the distractions and noise of the frenetic pace of modern-life the disruptive innovations that will expand existing markets and exceed expectations to implement strategies resulting in sustainable growth. Amy is about eclipsing existing boundaries and challenging comfort zones in order to develop broader visions; to create and expand in ways transformative, innovative, and elegantly aspirational that affect metamorphosis from the ordinary to the exceptional. Her visionary ability to articulate goals and help make the hard decisions translate into a generous entrepreneurial spirit, creating and cultivating long-lasting client relationships where synergistic teamwork and collaboration trump ego and stimulate dynamic, fresh, original, ingenious, state-of-the-art methods of marketing that are authentic and uniquely designed for each individual client’s needs and desires.
Amy is who you want when being ordinary is not enough for you and achieving extraordinary results is where you want to locate the starting line of your dreams and ambitions.
